Our thoughts are with the people of Dayton and El Paso, who are enduring terrible tragedy and heartbreak after the mass shootings in those cities this past weekend. The House has sent gun safety legislation to the Senate, take a moment today to call your Senators to demand they pass it.
We’re trying to stay focused on the big picture: on policy change, on electing a new Congress (House and Senate), and increasing American voter registration and turnout here in Berlin.
One of our goals is to create a temporary Democrats Abroad Berlin headquarters in 2020, a central location where you can come to get and give help with voting from abroad, where volunteers can gather to call overseas voters, and a physical place for our organization and community.
To that end, we are raising money and accepting your donations to make Berlin HQ a reality!
On Tuesday evening (August 6), come by to watch the highlights and play Democratic Debate Bingo! We’ll screen the best clips from the July debates and play bingo to raise funds for the 2020 Berlin ‘Get Out The Vote’ headquarters. ►RSVP
We’re taking a short break in August, so there won’t be a Berlin pub night this month. Check out the other events below like book club and precinct events in Dresden and Leipzig instead.
