DA Leipzig-Halle – May Book Club: The Testaments

Democrats Abroad Germany – Leipzig-Halle is hosting our second virtual book club meeting!
Join us on WebEx as we discuss “The Testaments” by Margaret Atwood, the recently published sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale. We will discuss the continuing themes as well as observe the author’s updated takes towards pertinent issues of the present-day USA.
Please add any thoughts or questions you have while reading to our live document.
Our next book will be selected during this meeting. We are trying to balance our selections between fiction and non-fiction. Keep in mind we’ve already read two fiction books so far. If you are interested in joining, feel free to add one book to our book suggestion list.
