Kreuzberg: 4th of July & Voter Registration

Celebrate 4th of July this year locally, safely, and with a purpose: taking back our democracy this November.

Democrats Abroad Berlin will be in five different outdoor locations around Berlin and Potsdam on Independence Day. We’ll provide voter registration and absentee ballot request help, so that you can vote in November.

We’ll also be handing out voter mobilization packages, so you can us reach the vast network of U.S. citizens living across Berlin and the surrounding area. There will also be information on how you may become a phonebanker and become a voter assistance volunteer.

Hygiene & Safety

Please wear a mask and maintain appropriate distances between others at the event. We also ask that you bring your own device, either a smart phone or a tablet, if you would like to complete the ballot request during the event. We will not be sharing devices to help maintain appropriate hygiene standards. The safety of our community members comes first.

Location

Schöneberger Wiese is in Gleisdreieck Park, across from Café Uhu. Take the U1, U2, or U3 to Gleisdreieck.

• Friedrichshain: Shakespeare & Sons from 11am-1pm (RSVP)
• Kreuzberg: Schöneberger Wiese in Park Gleisdreieck from 1-3pm (RSVP)
• Prenzlauer Berg: Cookies and Cream Garden Room from 1-3pm (RSVP)
• Wedding: Volkspark Humboldthain from 1-3pm (RSVP)
• Potsdam: Starbucks from 12-2pm (RSVP)

You can help out by sharing these voter registration events with your American friends and acquaintances in Berlin! As always, we welcome new faces, even if you’ve never attended a meeting or an event before.
