Opening Night: Stimmen! 100 Jahre Frauenwahlrecht — Women’s Caucus

This is the opening night of the “Stimmen!” exihibition, which is composed of works from female artists of the Frauenmuseum in Berlin, who, through various media, make demands for equality. There will be an introduction with the exhibition, followed by a movie screening at 21:30 of “die Hälfte der Welt gehört uns: Als Frauen das Wahlrecht erkämpften.”

The Vernissage begins at 19:30 on Tuesday, February 19th, 2019. Doors open at 18:45. **We will arrive at 19:00**

Let’s meet at Hallesches Haus at 18:00 for a cup of coffee/something sweet before heading to the exhibition at 19:00. Hallesches Haus is about a 6 minute walk from the Willy Brandt Haus. If you’re interested in doing so, please let Caitlin know.

Your ID will be checked upon entry. This is for security purposes since the Willy Brandt Haus belongs to the SPD. Listed forms of accepted ID: Personalausweis, Reisepass, Führerschein

If you can’t make it on February 19th, the exhibition will continue through March, but will only be open during normal art exhibition times: Tuesdays-Sundays 12:00-18:00 until March 24th.
