The annual general meeting of Democrats Abroad Germany is taking place here in Berlin from March 31 – April 2nd, 2017! As a gathering for politically engaged Americans living in Germany and in Europe, this year we’ll be focusing on how to build a movement for resisting the right-wing agenda and how to champion our progressive values as Americans abroad.
To reduce the financial barriers to participating in this special gathering of Democratic and progressive activists, we are offering several scholarships to cover the requested donation (62€ including Saturday lunch and dinner) for attending the meeting.

During the three days in Berlin, you’ll network with other Democrats from around Germany, vote on the country leadership for the next two years, and have a voice in the discussion about the future of the Democratic Party both in Germany and back in the United States. This year’s special dinner guest is Mayor of South Bend, Indiana, Pete Buttigieg, DNC chair candidate and U.S. Navy Reserve officer.
