We hope we’ll be seeing a lot of you in the next few weeks. As we prepare for 2020, we’re focused now on building community, capacity, and connections among our members in Berlin. We hope you’ll stay in touch with us when it counts: voting in every election you can.
TONIGHT: If you haven’t been out on Tempelhofer Feld yet this summer, take advantage of the lovely weather and picnic with us there this Friday evening. Candice, the chair of Democrats Abroad Germany, is our special guest. We’ll be near the Oderstraße entrance, north of the grill area.
On Sunday, we’re excited for the first Democrats Abroad playdate in recent memory at Traveplatz in Friedrichshain – kid not required!
It’s biergarten season, so our first summer pub night will be at BRLO this coming Wednesday(June 19th). Come grab a drink with us and cool off after work.
Got plans for Independence Day yet? Join Democrats Abroad Berlin as we celebrate 4th of July! We’ll have a grill & drinks, plus we’re hosting a potluckand a pie-baking contest in the garden at our monthly meeting spot, Begegnungsstätte Falckensteinstraße. More details below.

We are excited to be part of the Lesbisch-Schwules Stadtfest (Motzstrassenfest) on July 20 & 21 in Schöneberg. The street festival is an annual highlight for Democrats Abroad Berlin. We will have a booth on both days where we’ll mingle with attendees, sell DA swag, and register Americans abroad to vote. We’re looking for volunteers to help out for shifts of a few hours (or more) over the weekend. Oktoberfest – Early Bird Tickets end June 30th
Join Democrats Abroad from around Germany and Europe at Munich Oktoberfest on Sunday, October 6th, 2019 from 11:00am to 2:30pm. We have reserved seats in the Gallery section of the Schottenhamel tent — upstairs, above the large crowds.
Tickets are only 65 euros, but starting July 1st, increase to 75 euros. Each ticket includes a reserved seat in the Gallery, 1/2 of a roasted chicken, 2 liters of beer, and a 10 euro coupon for additional food and drinks. And don’t worry, you can use the beer vouchers for other drinks and vegetarian options are available.
