Democrats Abroad Berlin has lost one of our most beloved and dedicated members. David MacBryde passed away peacefully on Wednesday night, after a long illness. Even as his health declined, he continued to inspire all of us as he remained cheerful, optimistic and politically engaged. Those close to Dave have been truly fortunate to know his warm friendship, wisdom, support and joyful spirit. We offer our sincerest condolences to his wife Sabine, his sister Gretchen and their loved ones.
As we mourn the loss of our dear friend, we are comforted to know his legacy walks with us as we continue to work together to create the more peaceful and compassionate world he envisioned.
